Rainbow ET

The rainbow-ness or the ET in general?

My climbing partner has his ET (black) clipped to his harness most of the time. It works great for cutting down old webbing. I also handles the abuse of being ground against rock very well.

It's a bit funky to get used to. It sure won't fail, though. Your grip keeps it from closing. When you get the action down, it makes for easy one-handed opening/closing.

It is also more fun to play with than most designs. Just be sure not to cut yourself doing something stupid.

it's a good knife. feels pretty good in hand....but not a lot to keep you from slipping up on the blade. Love the looks and the blade shape. Not much for the rainbow kershaws.

it's kind of awkward to one hand open the conventional way though. I'm sure I'd get the hang of it.

Oh, and it has the best clip Kershaw has ever produced AFAIK...looks just like a pen in your pocket.

I have a rainbow E.T. It's extremely fun to play with, actually has a great blade shape for lots of different cutting tasks, and the lock is virtually fail-proof while the knife is in use. I love it, but it's sharp as can be and WILL bite you hard if you're not careful with it. Sliced me to the bone on the top of my index finger when I first got it a couple years ago.
