Rainbow Vision

I just got the remaining pieces back from BodyCote yesterday...
Here are the Rainbow pieces proir to re-assembly (though already greased... ).
I tried to do a little jewelling on the liners... it looks better than in the pictures... it adds almost a "3D" look to them.
I'll post another pic when it's re-assembled. My 2nd Powerlock too!

There was a warranty???

I'd say the disassembly voided the warranty, followed by the "jewelling" and the "roughing up the edges" of the liners, topped off by the aftermarket coating(s)...

One -Two -Three strikes you're out at the SOG warranty!!! :footinmou

The other side of the blade has a little more of the green in it. I am debating putting these parts in my Ti Vision, and the black BC parts in my Night Vision (basically swapping handles...).
Opinions?

Even I like that SOG (and I haven't even seen it assembled yet!)...what is that rainbow stuff...titanium nitride or boron carbide?? How did you do the jeweling??

Let me know his address and I can arrange the kneecapping, also the new trick with the hell's angels is te black and decker drill coming thru the back of the kneecap.

You know...I have had a change of heart from my earlier "hard line" and I'll overturn that "warranty denied" ruling.

I was looking much more closely at the beautiful blade (up on my monitor) through my maginifying glass, I think (I think I'm sure) that there is an uneven grind line somewhere.

So Rob, return that knife for warranty evaluation and in keeping with our ourstanding service, it will be proptly replaced with a standard model.

I had it done by BodyCote. I understand that they are no longer doing individual's knives: only manufacturers' and custom knifemakers'...

It cost me $25 for the first knife and 2$/in for any other knives in the same order.

Tonya Harding specified some pipe (if memory serves) these guys want to use POWERTOOLS!!!
