While I posted this also in the Community section, more members may remember him from this part of the forum;

Folks on the forum may know of Raindrop, aka Greg Sprinkel, lived in Salt Lake City
and was a major Sebenza fan as well as a Busse aficionado.

For a long time now he's suffered with Lou Gehrig's Diease and this morning I was
informed that he has past away, peacefully in his sleep.

He suffered for quite a while, a very dibilitating diease, not one you'd wish on any person.

No funeral services are made yet, the obituary will probably be in the Salt Lake Tribune.... :(

He had a very special Sebenza graphic made up, as his nickname was Raindrop, play on his last name of Sprinkel;

and special attention even on the lockbar side;

Rest in peace, awesome detail in the knife and one that sure pays tribute. Family and friends are in my prayers.

If you have ever witnessed the progress of ALS or other MD disease, it absolutely ravages a person's body. Thank you for posting this tribute and for the pictures of his meaningful knife.

My deepest sympathies a condolences go out to his family and friends.

Rest easy now brother..............

Steven

May he rest in peace. He had an amazing collection and I did pass emails with him from time to time.

Very sad news indeed. We communicated a good while back regarding some Chris Reeve knives which I later purchased. I think of him whenever I look at them. RIP.

Thank you Gary for taking the time to pass on the news and your tribute. You should be proud of your efforts on his behalf.

Nick
