raindrop pattern wrapped utility

Recently finished this one up. 300 layers of 1084/15n20, 4" blade, tapered tang, moose antler scales, cord wrap handle impregnated with industrial wood hardener. Hugh Bradley, known as 3/16th here on the forums did the handle wrap for this one, and I'm very pleased with how it came out. A bit of a departure from standard hunters etc. for me, and kind of fun. Just got new photo software also, so we'll see how it turns out.

Wow fantastic that is the pattern I was trying for on my last knife. You got it right. I need to increase my layers. Thanks for the pic post to show me how to get it right.

I am all keen for another go at it. I was going to give it up until I saw this.

Clint, I really like that pattern. This damascus stuff is really fun, its just a never ending bunch of patterns. I'll have to give this one a try, cool. :cool:
