Just a couple of shots of my HRLM sheath that Jeff made for me.

:D

I really need to get over here on Blade Forums more often. I just stay so busy making pants.:o

I'm glad you like the sheath. It was a real pleasure making it for you. May it serve you well.

You sure made it look good too. The pics are great.:)

Very nice sheath indeed. I really like that carving Rainwalker. Nice work all around.

Great looking rig! Rainwalker does top notch work.
What do the letters signify?

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ means "Come and take them."

In 480BC when the Persians commanded the Spartans to drop thier weapons and surrender. King Leonidas of the Spartans responded ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (Come and take them!)

Hmmm . . it's a class(ical) rig, too!
I just figured out how to take a photo that will post, and will take a pic of the sheath Rainwalker made for my Ratmandu tomorrow when the light's better. I'm also very pleased with it, and the price was very reasonable. Gotta have a good sheath!
Thanks

Thanks for the kind words on the pics, I am truly just an amatuer trying to learn. Reading alot of the info on http://www.bussecollector.com/index.html has helped out alot. I would love to get a SLR camera, but I would probably have to stop buying Rats and INFI for a while. The idea of that is just scary.

That's very cool....

I've got Jeff putting together a sheath for my BATAC right now. Top notch work at very reasonable prices!

And did I mention he's a really swell guy to boot!

Thats the next project I am going to send his way. I have a few BATACs that need some new pants and I can't think of a more talented guy to make them.

How come and you know all this? Are you of Greek origin? BTW, that's a nice knife/sheath combination.

I thought it was a common phrase among knife/tool/weapon users and collectors. Think of it as the ancient Greek version of, "from my cold, dead hands"

Yeah, I think I will agree with that. I am just impressed that M67Chucker was able to actually write this phrase in post #5 of this thread. That means that he has a keyboard with greek characters as well.

No I am not Greek, but I am a student of history. Just like USSR said, most people in the gun/knife culture are aware of this 2500 year old story and its resistance to tyranny.

This story applies today in our world and eventually we will have our own chance to echo those ancient words when the cycle of history repeats itself like it always has.
