A few months back, RussMo, one of our fellow Busse addicts, posted some pictures of a couple sheaths from Jeff at Rainwalker Creations with a "cane frog" inlay. As soon as I saw them, I knew I needed one for a black and tan Meaner that had arrived a few days earlier. I contacted Jeff and placed an order for a 3/4 drop loop with a pin lock, and it arrived in the mail today.

WOW! Jeff does some fantastic work, fit and finish are awesome, and it looks great with the black and tan G-10. I had to snap a few pictures to share. I was going to wait until tomorrow and get some better lighting and something nicer for the backdrop, but figured I'd be too hung over to remember so please excuse the quality!

I got a AK sheath coming in that same material, OOOHH YEAH BABY!!!

BTW those pics are sweet,

thanks for sharing

That is very nice!!! I really like the idea of the attached pin lock. No worries on it falling off and getting lost.

Hey Mike,

OUTSTANDING Bro!!! That Cane Toad and the handy work by Jeff is a sweet combo.

Man that's great you got it right here at the close of 2008. Ring in the New Year in style. Speaking of, "Happy New Year" Bro.

Russ

Thanks Russ! If it weren't for your pics I'd be missing out on that one, it was worth the wait.

I'm a big fan of Chuck's (Chuddy Bear) work as well, having four great looking, solid, sheaths crafted by him. Both he and Jeff do some fantastic things to leather!

That is one of the best I have seen and it suits knife perfectly.
Some thing new on a "WANT LIST"

That is just flat-out beautiful! Don't think the inlay could be more perfectly picked for those slabs!

Gorgeous sheath. I love the pin-lock. Rainwalker consistently impresses, I think he may be the best leather sheath maker now.

Nicely done! I'm impressed by the total package, but the inlay and the execution of the pin lock stand out in particular.
