HELLO....
Is there a RAINWALKER sheath maker or company?....I can't find it or a link....Im wondering if RAINWALKER is a brand Busse gives to it's in-house made sheaths?
....any info will be appreciated....thanks...Mike
 
He makes some awesome sheaths.

I haven't seen Jeff posting on here or the Scrapyards forums lately.

I didn't know if he was still making sheaths, has anyone heard from him lately?
 
I just sent Jeff a request for a sheath today and talked with him a few weeks ago. He has made me some awesome sheaths to include the most beautiful (IMO) leather one for a RMD.
 
thanks all for the reply's.....RicFlair....I've got a Custom Shop .22 the Game Warden....thought I might spring for a cool inlay sheath.....
 
I was on the list for one of his sheaths a couple of years ago and was told that there was a backup and the wait was longer. He never contacted me again so I assumed he quit.
 
Same here, sounds few badass sheath makers already have their regulars, i was told by some, not taking orders at the time (99% sure RW was 1 of them)
I agree his sheaths Look Sweet,
I had one from the Exchange, Love it.
 
It does seem that sheathmakers seem to come and go. The stalwarts have been Armoralleather and Buy Brown.
 
I bought a few Ratmandu sheaths from Jeff about 3 years ago. When I ordered, he was swamped with orders and said he was trying to slow down. I got the feeling that he was exiting the sheath business, at least on the scale that he was making them at the time. It took about 2 years to get my order completed.

By far the best leather sheaths I've seen. Awesome guy.
 
I did a trade with Jeff, on the Facebook Busse page about 6 weeks back and also ordered a sheath for my wife's hrlm that should be here tomorrow. He is a great guy to deal with. I just sent an email to his address listed on his website to order.

Geez, bummer to hear he's still making sheaths and my spot in queue from March of 2012 was never honored. Last time I heard from him was 5/15/13.
 
I still make a few sheaths but not like I was a couple of years ago...

Sorry jazub, things got really crazy for me and I did what I could do. I lost a lot of paperwork since. If you still need something I'll be glad to try and help if I can, just send me an email. Again sorry, couldn't be helped...
