Not the best day for taking pictures, but I snapped a couple of shots anyway.

Here's the set of Beckers. When Tenbeers gets ready to sell that BK-8, maybe I'll have 'em all. :D

BK1-5.jpg

BK6-11.jpg

Top to bottom:
BK-1 Brute
BK-2 Campanion
BK-3 TacTool
BK-4 Machax
BK-5 Magnum Camp
BK-6 Patrol Machete/Bush Hog
BK-7 Combat Utility
BK-9 Combat Bowie
BK-9HH Hog Hunter
BK-10 Crewman
BK-11 Necker

Got three more on the way... another BK-7, BK-9, and BK-11. Maybe I'll pick up a variant here or there as I see 'em. Just not too interested in the Desert Camo though. All these will see some use, and I like the black finish better for a working knife since I'm not in the desert.

Speaking of finish, if you look at the BK-9, it looks new. I have, however, used the dickens out of that knife, chopping all manner of things. Right before taking the photo, I slapped some CLP on a paper towel and rubbed off all the dirt and debris. The appearance says something for the finish on these knives.

I'll take another shot some other day and add it to this thread. I'll try to get 'em all in the same photo so that the proportions are true.

Awesome collection guyon:thumbup: ,
boy did I have a Bk2 Campanion for you awhile back, the military one with serrations. I wish I never got rid of it. Regret it ever since.
Good luck with yours, there excellent!

Nice collection. I have a few more to add, I want the BK6 and BK1, but other knives are taking my money at the moment.

Got the BK-6 at New Graham. Good price there. NG is showing 1 in stock.

Nice collection and in a very short time period......The fear of Lossing/Not Having Something can be a Big Motivational factor.

Congrates,

Karsten

I love the beckers. great photo. I have 10 in my collection but they are all bk7's and bk9's. All I want to add to it is a few bk1's

Why do you have to post this when Bk's are drying up. I hate you

Nice collection, I may break into your house one day... :D

Thanks, cybrok. C'mon down any time. Beware the tiger pits, landmines, and claymores, however. Oh, and the 12 gauge pump too. :D

Karsten, getting the smaller Beckers was always on my mind, and Camillus's woes jumpstarted the process. I never thought I'd really find a BK-4 or a BK-5, however. Before I knew it though, I was so close to the set that I went ahead and found the others.

mmm, are there pictures of the bk-8 that doesn't exit? :) and what's the story on the "hog hunter"?

now that you have the camillus models, you can now get the older models young padawon :) i especially reccy the original machax and brute. really spiffy. nickel-phosphate finishes are so lustrous to mine eye.

and congrats on the shiny bunch so far!

Yeah, I'll admit it. That "a little becker love" thread by Bladite got me to thinking how close I was to a more complete set.

The old-school Beckers don't come as cheap, but they sure are nice lookin'.

The Hog Hunter is just a BK-9 with a sharpened swedge. Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop may still have some. Very nice grinds on the one I received.

I did a little more grinding on my BK9 and work on the upper edge.....It is sharp enough now.

Took a break while waiting to catch up with the neighbor to cut up some Micarta and started this project.

Becker's are far more grinder friendly and don't bite near as often.

Thanks, jules. I just scored that very knife on the Bay. I've seen mention of a partially serrated BK-7 as well. That merchant (on whose site I saw them listed) was out, however.

A (crappy) picture of some older Beckers. If I get some time on a good day with some nice weather, I'll take some better shots.

Guyon, those are really sweet! just awesome!!

Have you know since I been looking at your BK goodies, I ended up getting another BK2 w/serrations. I'll never let this one go! I was stupid the first time but wont make the same mistake twice!

you are a bad man :) save some old magnum camps for me.

in compensation, i sent forth for a second old divetool :> this will make my [old] collection: 5 different machaxes (my specialty), 2 divetools, reinhardt, and the brute. still don't have an old magnum camp, or campanion.

i have checked a couple sources for the olde stuff, we'll see what turns up after the holidays. one gent informed me he had that old old old machax, touched by ethan himself - not for sale - dang - just for looks :>

world domination!
