So I made my 1st figure 4 trap. I think it came out ok but please let me know if I can improve.

Nice trigger man. I would have put a clean bit of log for the deadfall end to avoid the trigger catching on the broken log end but the trigger itself...nice!

Normally you would want the main pole on a hard surface so it doesn't sink into the soft ground.

Your notches look good.

Keep playing with it till you get a hair trigger!
