I wish I had a little better camera. You really can't see how detailed it really is.
It was made by Rainy Vallotton some years ago. I can't keep my eyes off it. It is a double action auto, and is a great knife overall.

Robert,
I am using a Olympus D-460 Zoom. 1.6 MP.
In its day, it was a hot little camera. You know how those things go. If I buy a five megapixel camera now, I would loose some funds for a new knife. :D

Overall, the camera is great. It just doesn't get the detail in a whole lotta shots, such as the knife above.

Nice knife.

Your 1.6 should be able to get plenty of detail for knife shots, the trick is in the contrast/lighting the camera needs to catch all the detail, try shooting a pic outdoors using a sheet of paper to black sunglare, play around with it till you get a good pic. nice thing about digitals is you can shoot pics all day for nothing :)

NGK-Webmaster, thanks for the photo tips. You sure are correct, ny camera loves the outdoors. I really never played with the lighting, so I will try that.

GOLOK, I can use this knife, and I do carry it. I love having it with me.
I don't really cut anything with the knife, maybe some plastic rap, like I did the other day.
I can always send it back to Rainy, and he will take it apart, and rebuild it like new,and that is why I'm not afraid to carry it.If nothing on the knife is broken, and for him to regrind, clean, and re assemble, it is reasonable.
Thanks guys for the tips.

Thankyou, I wish I created her, but Rainy gets all the credit, and I am fortunate to have her.
I do carry her often, she is solid, and just feels right. The perfect size.
She is like a real woman, as I can't keep my hands off of her :D

What about credit for the damascus? As he bought from my father some I'm wondering who made it.

Hi Larrin,
I probably heard from Rainy where he got the Damsacus, but I certainly can't remember at this time.
The stainless steel Damascas makes the knife for sure.
