So this past weekend we had a lot of rain here. I was bored and didn't know what to do with myself. I was looking at all the wonderful stripped BK10s and thought it's time! I put scotts blue tape under the handle, tightened them down and sprayed the paint stripper on. I was worried about the stripper eating away at the handles, but after reading a post on here about it i decided to go ahead and try it out. As you can see the stripper didn't effect the handles at all! Totally stoked about that.

I should take a few more pics when I get home. All in all I'm very happy with the outcome! Now all I need is a new set of handles (not sure if i should do micarta or g10) and maybe a spec-ops sheath...

looks good. i definitely think some micarta or wood scales are needed. nice job

Thanks guys! I've been thinking about making my own. Just a matter of getting all my tools back from different family members. I have a cool looking monkey pod cutting board that I've wanted to use.

What did you do about the Becker and bk-10 lettering?

What do you mean what did I do about the lettering? I've added more pics to my first post. The lettering on the current production BK10s are lazer etched in already. I didn't see a need to do anything to them.

Good job. As tobiism suggested, have a go at making your own scales, it's alot of fun and satisfying when it all comes together.
