I just picked up a wonderful new blade, the Dirty Trick 12 Sawback. It is surprisingly light in hand and fast. The spine treatment is better described as a row of chisels or "Industrial Keyway Broach" and it gets the job done.
If I'm not mistaken the Dirty Trick 12 Sawback was the final new design made with SR-101. I can't think of a better blade to send off SR-101. I believe the Original Tali-Whaker (unmarked 9-11 Military only) was the first SR-101. Again, a great blade to start this legendary steels run with.
Let's Raise a glass to SR-101 Sláinte
