Okay, don't blame me. It's another raised-clip...just following orders:) Here's the specs; 8 1/2 in. 1075 blade, sharpened clip, 5 in. ironwood handle, and SS guard. Should be delivering this week. My client has been waiting since the Little Rock show last February:eek: I really appreciate his patience. Thanks for lookin'. Comments/critiques welcome.

Ben,

You're doing a great job. I expect no less from you, but it's fun to see you perform so well.

The blade looks cool, and your guards and handles are just getting better all the time.

Thanks, John! I've been focusing on handles lately...glad you like 'em. Thanks also to my dad for another great sheath.

your work is most impressive!

Another fine knife and sheath. Thanks to you and your father for swinging by the shop and showing me this one today. That ironwood looks so great in my hand. I will say I am a tad jealous of this one. I am sure the new owner will love it.

Don't know what I'm most impressed with, the raised clip, the handle or the overall fit/finish.
All fine execution.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I'd kill to be able to sculpt a handle even half that well.

Beautiful piece. You client must be very happy indeed.

No need to kill, they're pretty easy. Profile the handle, slot for the tang, glue up, grind the flats to the guard, then the top radius, sculpt with a 5 inch round wheel, finish out with sandpaper. A 1/2 inch small wheel helps with the guard too. Hope that helps...good luck!

Nice fighter, Ben! Agree with all the above; nice lines, great guard, bold clip, comfortable looking handle. Dad did well too! Terrific!

Thank's, y'all! I appreciate the kind words. I've already started on another one like it. There's a fair number of orders for these, so hope y'all don't get sick of lookin' at 'em!

How the hell could anyone get sick of looking. Keep posting them up.

Thanks for sharing

Ben, that is a real good looking knife. There's nothing that I don't like about it, raised clip, beautifully shaped guard and handle and of course my favorite wood!!

Nice job Ben! It's a fine lookin' fighter for sure. Keep cool if you can down there in Arkansas. :)

Looking good Ben! I agree with John the handle looks really good!
