rajah 2 blade play

helloo, If you own cold steel rajah 2, does it have some blade play in any direction?

When locked up, no blade play in any direction, nice and tight.

Maybe tighten up the pivot a bit and then check it, sometimes they loosen up with use.

Make sure there's no pocket lint or other debris jammed in the lock .

Once fully engaged , the Tri-ad lock is usually rock solid .

thanks a lot, I cant have knife with blade play Im going to buy that beast soon and replace my fixed blades with it

You shouldn't have any BLADE PLAY Unless it's a auto knife .LOL

cant agree I have several knives that startet blade play, even didnt use it, just hanging in pocket and even started noises having such play, for example victorinox alox red

I had a Raja 2. Got rid of it. Handle was too heavy, throwing the balance off. I don't remember blade play though. But you could have a fixed blade with equal blade length or more and a shorter handle that would be better balanced, and a better chopper as a result.

to tell honestly, I dont use knives too much (just cutting some everyday simple tasks) I like rajah for its shape and size, I have some fixed blades for fishing or some outdoor survivals, rajah will replace my para 3 and will be city companion

no my friend, it was the knife I wanted all childhood, now when I allmost have knives for all different uses I want to buy one rajah

Tri Ad Lock=no blade play if everything is correct. There are probaly some out there like everything else, but they are the exception rather than the rule.
