Rajah 2 or Extra Large Espada in G-10?

I'm going to buy one of the two. I just want a monster in my pocket. What would you guys choose? I just don't care as much for the Espada handle. I could live with it though.

Anyone EDC one of these?
 
Get a talwar 5.5inch lol

Best of both worlds. And in the middle or about the same price wise.
 
I edc a Cold Steel Rajah II. Almost every day. It sits on my rfp with the pocket clip
removed and it stays right where I put it. Waves open very fast and easy and I'd
trust it for self-defence or and emergency/survival chopper. It really is a great
knife for many uses. Just remember to get something that can sharpen inside the
curve of the belly. Cold Steel has some of the best aus8 in my experiance, but it's
still aus8 so it will need to be sharped eventually.
I never tried the Espada as I love kukris, but not a fan of the Espadas' profile.

I've got both of these knives and the XL Espada is quite a bit bigger still than the Rajah 2. It's easier to carry the Rajah as you don't need extra deep pockets to do so.
 
Having both I tend to EDC a smaller knife, at the moment a 6" Zytel Ti Lite.

That said, the Rajah tends to fit pockets better, although in both you'll need to have a shirt to cover the exposed area of the handle and blade.

The Sharpmaker or a round sharpening stone it good for getting inside the recurve.
 
The Rajah 2 carries like a much smaller knife than it actually is.
And it waves open perfectly every time.
 
I really like all my rajah knives and the rajah 2 carries fairly well and is just sturdy. I'm considering an Espada in the future but first I'll pick up an XL Talwar

If you are in the Pittsburgh area, I'll be doing the Gun & Knife Show in Monroevile 31Jan, 1Feb. I've got plenty of Cold Steel and you can do a "hands-on" check to compare them.

I wish I did I live in SE PA and there is not many places that carry cold steel. Thank you for the offer.

Either of them would be a great choice, obviously. Having owned both at different points in my knife career [owned the Espada for over a year longer], I would go for the Rajah 2. It's cheaper and on sale in many places. There is always the chance to nab the XL Espada after saving up a little and waiting for the prices to drop a little on the AUS8 G10 version. Just don't wait too long after the XHP version comes out.
