I'll get some pics up later this evening but for now a quick description. Blade has minimal wear, I think I only touched it up on the sharpmaker a couple times. Handle has a bit of carry wear (snail trails) on the bolsters but no dings or scratches to the aluminum or g-10. No box or papers, right hand clip only (I beadblasted the clip years ago to match the handle).

I'm thinking of putting it up for trade, hoping to get a couple of the newer (read lighter;)) production mega folders (users too probably) but I wanted to make sure my valuation wasn't crazy;)

There was one on on EBay a few days ago for $450. Not sure if he knows what he's doing, but they are scarce. I'd give maybe $200 for one, but the rare collector who just has to have one would pay more.

I believe you are referring to lachopperboy who has one NIB listed for $850 here and $950 on the Bay...but that's not me :).

Please try to keep up, I'd appreciate it if you didn't lump me in with that spammer.

I would keep it, it's a fine conversation piece. Anyhow I doubt one would fetch more than $250 in prestige condition
 
I've seen them go from $300 to $600 on Ebay, depending on condition. A pristine example went for over $900 in an auction. That one was like new with plastic on the bolsters and a perfect box.
 
I noticed the price that guy was asking, and thought it steep. But I had not priced one recently. I knew you were not him, though, so it's all good.

Also, I am well informed of the rules for crapping on another's for sale thread, so I would not presume to do so, even to an outrageous price.

Or a mod would infract me, and rightly so!
 
I picked up a few of these when Cold Steel had them on clearance for $75 then $50. I was waiting to see if they would go lower then they were gone! Wish I had purchased more of them now that I think about it. A very impressive knife.
