Does anyone happen to have some pictures showing how the Rajah II carries in a typical pocket? I'm thing about buying one to EDC on weekends. Not sure if it would even fit in a regular jeans pocket. Thanks!

Just imagine a VW Beetle hauling off a telephone phone... Okay, sorry, I'm not helping.

That's okay Kaizen, you helped me laugh!:p

Check back Zombie, I think CharlieMike has one. Maybe he'll chime in after he's done "Waving" his silverware drawer.:D

It is a HUGE knife. I carried mine last night. It is a huge gob of plastic exposed out of your pocket.

You can carry it in your front pocket without much of a problem. If you're going to be outdoors a lot (and I assume you will be), it can be carried clipped without too many problems.

If you're not going to be using it for rough outdoor use, the 6-inch Voyager and Vaquero Grande are great, too.

I EDC either a Rajah I or II, I typicaly wear heavy carhartt jeans and either Rajahs fit very confortably in the front pocket. More of the knife sticks out of the pocket than a would a typical pocket knife, I however dont mind this as it provides a good grip to deploy the knife.

I should be able to get a picture up tomarrow

Thanks for the needed belly laugh:thumbup::D

Ok, this is not a rajah2 ... it's a large Espada but all in all similar in size.

I EDC my large Espada regularly. Unfortunately, not enough is exposed to provide a good "waving" grip. So... I cut an "island" out of the last attachment point from the spacer. Now it deploys much easier with a lanyard.

The pic is of a medium Espada, but I did the same thing to the large.

That is an increadibly professionl looking modification. Nice Job!

BTW, for those of you carrying the Rajah, are you carrying the Rajah I or the Rajah II?
Wondering if the Rajah I would be stronger due to the materials.

Don't think there is much difference in relative strength between the Rajah I and II. The Rajah II is significantly less expensive and built like a tank. Got 'em both, use the II.

I ended up ordering the Rajah II. It should be here later today. Can't wait to try it out.

Please post a review of what you think of this knife when you get it - I have been eying this one to get for quite a while.

I know there are 2 versions of the Rajah II - which did you get..?

I purchased the Rajah II. It has the steel lined "Grivory" (Plastic) handles.

I plan on writing up a more detailed review and taking some pictures later in the week. So far, I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the knife. Yes, it's huge but I don't see why anyone with typical pockets couldn't EDC this blade if they wanted. I carried it for a while today in jeans, and thought it carried well.

The lock seems to be the most robust design that I have seen. When the blade locks into place, there is zero movement of any kind. I don't see this blade failing.

The wave feature works perfectly; actually more reliably than most other manufacturer's versions. Due to the size and lock strength, this might be a good SD knife for those who like large knives.

Overall, great knife purchase.
