Rajah II - Safe to carry IWB?

Do you think the Rajah II would be safe to carry IWB at the 4:00 position? I am primarily concerned about the potential for the blade to open from movement since there is nothing blocking it from opening like when it is in your pocket. I have removed the thumbplate because I would rather open it two handed.

Lockbacks--the Tri-Ad included--have a very strong bias towards closure. If it were a liner lock or frame lock with a blade that heavy, I'd worry. Your only worry will be the rust issue. Your blade is also heavy enough that it will open inertially without much effort, so the thumbplate isn't a loss for defensive use. I'm assuming that's what you're going for as a knife that large has little utility use, and IWB isn't conducive to utility carry.

I have no problems doing inertia openings on my Rajah IIs.
