Rajah III Liner Material

Can anyone verify whether the liners of the Rajah III are aluminum or stainless steel? I've seen reviews and online dealers say stainless steel, but I have a Rajah III AUS 8 (bead blasted) that definitely has aluminum liners. In this video by Andrew Demko (before Cold Steel put up their own test videos) he says aluminum.

I'm wondering if there was a change. The weight specified by CS went from 4.4 oz. to 5 oz. for the current BD1 version.
 
It's still aluminum, i have the old and the new BD1 Rajah 3. Steel will make it too heavy especially for that thickness.
 
It's not going to make any difference in terms of strength and rigidity though. The added weight is going to make it more handle heavy which is not necessarily better since it's currently pretty well balanced.
