The Rajkumar kuk came in today's mail. It's a bit longer than what I normally swing, but this one is for home defense, so a bigger blade should be a little more scarier.

Man, that is gorgeous:) I keep a 15" bash next to the bed. Nimble and fierce;)
 
Beautiful knife, love the ornate handle and damned if it don't look real good on ya.

I'm comforted seeing ya wearing shoes in the blacksmith shop with all the hot sharp pointy things. And I bet that nice leather apron has kept ya from ketchin afire more than once I reckon.

I know you said you was done building rifles but looks like your still pounding a little steel. I find that comforting too.
 
That is a definite "stand out" kukri. Love the handle and brass accents. Very original...Im jealous hehe
 
Love to see a few shots of that blade. Maybe a spine shot. Pardon my ignorance but this is one model im really not familiar with. Looks proportioned somewhat like Kobra or Siru? That is gorgeous to say the least. Grats Bookie!
 
Ndog, will do next week. It's Vietnam Reunion time for a few days and it's my duty to see that all the root beer's cold.....

Ive always wanted one, but I saw a picture of one with a chiruwa carved handle once and I simply won't buy one if it doesn't look like that.

Well, she used to call me Matt. I was six before I found out that that spot in front of the door wasn't my bed. She'd punish me by hanging me from a nail by my shirt in the front room. Visitors to the hose while I was hanging there were told my name was Art. I used to be schizophrenic, but we're both O.K., now.
 
Pretty nice kuk, Bawanna, The proportion is pretty good. Nice simple and uncluttered handle.
 
It must be, I keep thinking it's about 11 or 12"s but its longer. It's nimble for sure.
