If I wasn't still waiting on a custom, I would so be on this one. It's beautiful and its a cak! The sheath work alone looks to be worth half the cost. I would be afraid to use this one.

I'm jealous. Great catch. That one deserves to be on display and only used to slay mythical creatures but I bet it would hold up to the abuse of every day work too. I wonder if this one carries the same field use warranty as a cak.

Stunning all around and amazing details on the handle, karda, chakma, and sheath. That sheath alone is worth the price!

So amazing. I think I might have pee'd myself a little bit. I'm GREEN with envy... and SO looking forward to getting my CAK.

Definitely going to have mostly save this one for slaying mythical creatures. Was looking for a work kuhkri to replace my hatchet on a trip to yellowstone this summer...got struck with the fever in a major way and this one called to me with a decorative handle that looks very grip-able. Guess I'll be using the hatchet this year at yellowstone.

Thanks! Told my family over dinner last night how excited I was to have the opportunity to buy this beautiful piece of equipment...they were less than enthused about a "knife". But afterwards when gave them background on the khukris and showed them the pictures you could see the "wow" an all their faces. Very much looking forward to holding this khuk and seeing it in person. My youngest son (7) thought I should give him "one of the little ones" - he is apparently now infected with a case of HIKV and wanted to view all the styles on the HI website...
