Dear yangdu didi,

Short note on Rajkumar made Dingla model knife-

Dingla is a small village in Eastern Nepal with the district headquarters of Bhojpur , a hilly/mountainous district in Kosi Zone

In the northern part of Bholpur district lies the beautiful small city of Dingla. Various hill castes, Brahmin (bahun in Nepali), Kshetriya (Chhettri in Nepali), and ethnic groups like Rai reside within this beautiful area. This is the place where rudraksha trees grow naturally in the forest as well as individually on people's land.

Dingla bazaar is home to many Newar businessmen as well as skilled Newar craftsmen, and is famous for its metalwork, particularly khukuri knives. This district is very rich in production of khukuries in Nepal. Before they are use for their household work and sometime fight for their territory protection.

Regarding for Putali AK- means Butterfly AK-

There is no any specific story, this knife blade is like to our 15” AK. He put guard on handle somehow looks like butterfly wings, so he gives knife name as Putali/butterfly AK.

Thank you,

Rajesh

Took my breath away. Those are stone cold, drop dead gorgeous. My oh my! How I'd love to have both of those in the mail to bawanna's tomorrow.

Not in the cards right now. Thank you Yangdu for letting us look at those. Beautiful beyond words.

Surprised either of those are still available. I love my Manjushree as well. It's probably my favorite HI piece, in fact.

Maybe it's an omen? I'm gonna go tell the missus that these are meant to be, if you don't hear from me for awhile you know I'm healing.

I love both of these very much. That Dingla just speaks to me......................

The Manjushree is a sweet sweet blade. A bit forward heavy, which generates lots of power on a thrust or slash, and Rajkumar is one of my favorite Kami's. Mine's a Sher, I believe. Everyone who likes swords and HI should own one of those.

I really love the Manjushree sword. It is a true beauty. I would love to own that but the funds are not available for a purchase at this time. I'm truly surprised it hasn't been snagged yet.

Sword of Wishdom is on the way to Ireland, thank you

So what they say about Irish luck really is true. Congrats to the lucky recipient, it's a beauty.
