In 1976, my wife gave me a Ralph Bone folding knife and leather scabbard for my birthday. I still have it today and just had the blade professionally sharpened and cleaned. It is a beauty. Does anyone here have a Ralph Bone knife?

Saludos de Panamá....

I have seen several, and the guy who now owns the Bone trademark lives in my neighborhood. Ralph lived in Lubbock, TX where I now live. There's also a new book out covering Ralph's knives.

Thanks for the very interesting information, Jason. My wife passed almost a decade ago and this knife still reminds me of her gentle smile and love. She told me when she gave it to me that is was special, but she couldn't have realized how much it means to me now.

Yep, got a sheath knife from him, love it. I have to sell it though

Ralph was a good guy. I met him through an engraver buddy of his, Richard Bouchet. Dick used to do engraving for Frank Pachmayr (the rubber grips guy) and I worked for Frank about the time he was selling Pachmayr's to the Baker Bros. Back then his knives were a bit too rich for my budget, but he could tell some good stories.
