Now, I'm not an engineer, but with that blade shape, won't the edge hit the inside of the handle? Don't get me wrong, I think it looks pretty cool. I'm just wondering.

The handles taper to the latch end...... Take a look at a BM44 Tanto and you'll see how the blade looks too wide to fit, but it does!

The blade does not come into contact with the inside of the handles, because the bolster is slightly wider than the blade. That is the problem on a few of the cheap china knives. The metal in the handle tends to be soft and as it pushes out, the blade may come into contact with the inside of the handle. Although usually on those the blade is already so dull it does not really matter. Opps, wait a min, sense I sell thousands of dollars worth of China knives, should I not be building them up? Hay guys, go out and buy a dozen, the china knives are great

That is an interesting way to have the inserts in the handles, I think I like it more than BM/PC custom inserts.

Are these just concept computer generated pictures (but still pretty close to what the Gemini will look like)?
