RAM question

Far as I can tell they're identical even in your pictures. Also, my 1st Production RAM matches the first picture perfectly.

Also, I've been told that the two models are 100% identical except for the "1 in 500" stamp.

It's possible that you've seen some pictures of the RAM prototypes. There were some changes made to the clip and area where it attaches on the final production version, but prototype pics have been floating around. I'll try to find one and post it here.

Like kennyj said, the first 500 RAMs that are stamped 1 of 500 are identical to the rest of the production except for that blade marking.

They're all the same.

Why do the lock levers look different than the ones for sale at KnifeCenter...

Seems like a beefier lever on the KC.com ones. Are these switches available??

That is the pre-production photo that was given out to resellers.
If you'll notice the differences in that pic and svrider3's pics, the lock button
as you mentioned is different, there are also clip screwholes for left hand carry.
If you look at the CKT/Black model, it matches the current production although black.

i just got the NOV. copy of tactical knives and there is an ad for the R.A.M. on page 73, that has the single screw clip. so did they change the clip design? because the one i handled in the passaround had the three screw clip. :)

Yes, the clip design was changed. Kershaw opted for a simple clip
rather then the plunger clip from the custom. There were about
10-12 pieces alone from the original clip design if i'm not mistaken.
