RAM Questions

I am considering a new EDC.

I am possibly interested in a RAM, but the Kershaw sight does not list any size dimensions for this knife.

I am interested in something in between a Leek and a Blur.

How does the RAM compare to these.

I already have a Stainless Steel Leek. I have recently purchased a Blur, but I am going to return it because it is too big.

Handle thickness?
Blade length?
Handle Length?
Weight?

I am concerned that the RAM is too close in size to the Leek. If so, it would probably be pointless for me to get.

Thanks.

I don't have the calipers out right now, but quick and dirty the RAM is 7 1/2" overall with a 3 1/8" blade. Blur is 7 7/8" OA with 3 1/2" blade, and the Leek is 7" OA with a 3" blade. Blur is the heaviest, the Leek the lightest. Definitely more heft and feel to the RAM than the Leek, even they are close in size. I'll get some additional measurements up tomorrow, if someone else doesn't beat me too it.

What kind of Blur do you have? Send me a PM with details...

Here's a quick scan job of the 2 side by side.
If you want something in between the Leek and Blur, the RAM should fit your needs.
Hope this helps.

Yes....but they are really detailed!

EDIT: If they have action anything like my new 0500 (review tommorow :D)they are worth it for that reason alone. many say that it is the smoothest flipper Kershaw offers.

Thanks everyone.

I have been browsing other threads in this forum and I am thinking that a Skyline might fit my needs even better than the RAM.

The skyline handle appears smaller, thinner and lighter.

The Kershaw website does not list dimensions for either of these knives. This makes it a littler harder to determine if these knives fit my needs. I wish they would get their act together. How can I consider buying their product if I don't have any idea what their size dimensions are?
