Ok, I recently inherited a Lile Rambo "The Mission" knife. It is the survival knive version, not the little dagger version. What can anybody tell me about it? It is not one of the 100 serialized ones. It still has the sheath and the sharpener. It is in nearly new condition with the only wear visable on it being from the sheath. What is it worth? Is it worth hanging on to? And please don't give me any "It's worthless, send it to me" posts. That joke was funny back in 1995. Is this actually a real Lile knife? Or did the knock-offs have "Lile" stamped on them too? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen any of the replicas marked with "Lile" so you apparently have an original.

There were several hundred unnumbered "Mission II" knives made. The original selling price ranged from $600 to $2,250 and they still seem to be selling within that range for the more common models. Low numbered and special versions can bring up to $10,000.
