Ramen, Hamburger Helper, hot dogs... Cant get off this diet...

Orange Dodo got charged to the credit card & have been eating like this for the last couple weeks when I bought my PM2. Anyone else killing their health because of Spyderco? Looking for group support, lol :D

I have the blue one. Great little blade for Edc. Wish my neck sheath from river city would come. Sheeple arent scared of it, they just think its weird.
 
Sorry man. I dont do this, and you really should not either. Wait until you get the $ until you buy something or save up in advance. I know you are looking for support, but I just cannot support a self destructive habbit like this. But I do know where you are comming from. It is hard to resist buying blades, especially when they are sweet spydercos.

I'm just trying to make light of the situation. I typically don't do this, but I have a feeling the Dodo will be gone for good, by Mon, if not already, so I had to jump on it. Bills r taken care of & thats what matters most, I just won't be eating too well for the next week or 2. & will still have enough money saved up for a backpacking trip in April, so its all good, just this next week will be tight :)
 
Man, I can't catch a breake tonight... I subpose I will burn for saying I'm a smoker & love a cold beer? I do normaly eat right & love to backpack, hike, & camp... As far as family goes... We don't get along, lol

You're a funny guy, you know that? :)

On a side note, last summer I actually celebrated surviving a very dangerous health crisis by buying a Spyderco (Masad Ayoob). ;)

Thanks for sharing, I guess u could say I'm still young & dumb :) Maybe I should change the title to "the stupid things we do for Sprint runs" lol
 
Do what I do to buy Beckers; all bottles and cans get saved in big bags in the garage then cashed in every few months at the recycling center for usually enough money to buy one inexpensive knife or half of a nicer knife. If the BK16 has an overly prolonged release delay then I will probably put my current recycling money towards a PM2.

I'm old and still not so smart... ;). Have fun with your hobbies but keep them in perspective. Now if I can just follow my own advice :p. Rewarding yourself with knives is much better than a lot of things I can tell you that.

LOL...right there with ya...the only part missing is the "young", now I am just dumb...:P...enjoy your youth!!!

In any case, yeah I give a lot of priority to knives...I could use the money for other stuff, but the passion is too strong...also I wouldn't want to waste all the effort I put into making my wife believe that ultra high end knives are around $50-60 (thank God she finds knives so boring that she doesn't even waste one second checking their prices!)...ahaahah

Too many people are more concerned with the quantity of life rather than the quality of life. If people want to denegrate you for supposed self inflicted lifestyle injuries, then I would point to others life style injuries such as result from motorbikes, skiing, driving, rock climbing, fighting wars and the list goes on.
 
I have two brand new baby boys, a new suv to hold those little monsters plus three dogs, and a mortgage payment. It's rice, beans, pasta and ground meat for years to come. Thankfully the job has cash in hand a couple days a week, so i can squirrel away something for my interest on occasion :)

I'm a server so sometimes squirreling away my cash in hand is TOO easy to do, as that's where most of my money comes from. I have to remind myself that a lot of it is bill money.
