Have a very slight crack running along the length of my rams horn GW. Came that way from the shop, I dont mind as its gonna be a user. At the end of the line, its deep enough for me to insert a fingernail. Question is- Is there anything I can use to seal it up? Are there any oils to apply to prevent it from cracking further?
Thanks

My camera is down so cant post any pics.

Visit the Himalayan Imports forum and search for horn cracks.

If you don't want to send it back to the shop, typical advice is to apply some hoof care (Hooflex, available at saddle shops and used on racehorses, but contains pine tar so might leave dark crud on white horn) or nail care (anything cheap from the medicine cabinet) to moisturize the horn and close up the crack as much as possible. Afterwards, apply some superglue or epoxy (may need to thin it if the crack is narrow) to fill in the gap.

If you're going to use it, I wouldn't bother sending it back. In the future, you can send it in for a complete refurb. Might be worth giving them a heads-up if you choose to keep it, though.
