Ram's horn

I really like the look of the RAT knives with the Ram's horn scales. Will these hold up to normal field use? Thanks.

Mike Stewart, owner of Bark River knives, has said that rams horn is a nigh indestructable material, and it is what he uses on his personal knives.

As long as you give them the proper treatment occasionally (I think lanolin is the natural choice, but other things work, too) they will last a long time. Have you seen nature films that show how the rams treat their horns? They can take a lot of impact.
