Alright, time to whip out your Randall 14s. Could you tell me what the width (not thickness) of the blade is at the hilt and then at the widest part of the blade? I know the measurements will vary because these are handmade between knives.

Thank you!

1 7/16" in front of the choil. Same right before the top edge starts.

ETA: There is a very slight difference. It's about 1/32" taller where the top edge starts, but I'm using a little crappy tape measure, don't have my calipers where I am ATM.

Hey, machine.

I appreciate you taking your time to measure that for me! Could you please take a look at the picture below and confirm that where these two bold vertical lines are is where you measured?

Thanks very much!

Np, sufler. The back line is correct, the line closer to the point needs to move to where the top edge starts/right before the clip starts.

Awesome! Got it. Btw, next time she sits on your lap or when you're fondling her... could you tell me the width right in-front of the hilt (in the choil area). I'm guessing the width is probably around 1/8" less.

Thanks again!

NP,bud. Remember that's not exact though...I had forgotten that my good calipers quit working and the only things I've got left arecrappy plastic reloading calipers and a tape measure.

That's fine. I just wanted a rough estimate. 14 being my favorite and I don't have one. Shame on me. Thanks!
