Hi,
My first posting here.I did order Randall 16 Diver stainless, year ago.Is steel on this knife 440 B and can anyone tell me a bit more about the characteristics of it.Also is Randall forging all blades or just some.Thank you.

There are only a few smaller models that are not forged. Your Diver will be forged 440B. 440B is a good steel with less carbon content than 440C, which makes it easier to sharpen, but you might experience slightly less edge retention. Both steels have the same chromium content for rust resistance. I think you will be very happy with 440B's performance.
