Randall #21 question, gotta make one.

I have an order from a customer who wants me to make a knife that looks like a Randall Model #21 "little game". I have a picture of the knife off the web but, I can't see the butt end. He said there was no pommel or such, just a pin in the end of the stag. ???. Can anyone help me understand what he means?

I've seen Randals where they just cut the end of the tang off even with the end of the handle. I guess it's all thread welded onto the stub tang of the knife and the threads allow them to tighten the handle up to the guard and act as notches for the epoxy to stick to. Personally, I thought it was a very cheap look, especially for a Randal.

I`ve seen a few Randalls, I just
don`t get it. If I was goin to lay
that kind of cash for a belt knife.
I would be much better of buyin one
