FWIW there is an "S" next to the "randall made Orlando Fl." blade stamp

You have a recent production model #14. The handle is a special shape option called "Border Patrol" and the hilt is a special option "model # 1 hilt". The "S" indicates a stainless blade instead of a tool steel blade.

Is there a name engraved on the opposite side (not your own)? I had one made exactly like that a few years ago and later sold it.

Ya got me! I thought I had found one of my lost children. I had about six Randall knives engraved with my name (one with my "then" Army rank also) thinking I would keep them forever. I didn't, I sold them and bought other things. I've always wondered if any would turn up.
 
I have one just like it with a green handle. But slightly different with only one finger groove or Single Finger Grip. The knife. Not the Claymore:eek: "Front Toward Enemy"
