Randall in Deliverance ?

I just saw the movie Deliverance again yesterday, and was wondering what kind of knife John Voigt's character is carrying. I'm guessing it may have been one of the Randall Bowies, with an S guard especially since from what little I know these seem to have undergone a period of popularity during the 1970's. Can Mr. Stidham or any of you other Randalholics enlighten me. Thanks.

I highly doubt that the knife in question was a Randall.
