Can anyone tell me how many Ivory BrassBack Bear Bowie knives were made by Randall? I have heard that only a handful were made by the shop but some may have had the BrassBack added after they left the Randall shop. Any information would be appreciated.

Yes, there are bad ones and yes there are good ones but few brass-back Bear Bowies were made by Randall. How many? I don't think anyone knows that. I personally have one with a stag handle.

If someone will remind me when I get back home, about the middle of November, I will post a picture. Sorry, but not for sale.

Fellows, I cannot tell you this too many times, before you buy any rare, questionable Randall, have it sent to Gary Randall for approval. Send the knife as pictures or email will not get you the letter. //// Rhett
