I recently came into this awesome little Randall spear point fixed blade. I remember my grandpa loving Randall knives but never had one of his own due to the fact that they are pricey and he used his knives so he always bought Buck and Case. I need information on this wonderful knife. I do not know what the handle material is, looks like walnut? Blade steel? Year of manufacture? Please help!

Looks like cocobolo to me. These come in 3 sizes and show up in a variety of handle materials. IIRC different dealers order them with SFO. I believe the standard is micarta. The Randall website may be helpful.

Your Salt Fisherman has a "high carbon stainless" blade, Randall doesn't specify which type. The Salt Fisherman blade is not forged (at least the recent ones).

Likely stock Rosewood handle. ATS-34 is also used on the smaller non-forged, stock removal RMK blades.
