Randall Made Knives (Pics)

I don't see many posts about Randall Knives on these forums. I use to enjoy seeing older Randall Knives at gun shows but there seem to be fewer and fewer these days. I'm with Hugh, I love those #12's, and all that stag, wow.
I mentioned the #12 Randall's on Chat a few weeks ago, and I was told that they were big, ugly and useless knives. I couldn't disagree more. I can't wait until I can afford to get a #12 Smithsonian Bowie, that's the one I want the most. I could see collecting just Randall's more than any other name. I can't imagine what it took to put your collection together?

Bubba that is a nice collection of Old Randalls. The Thorpe with brass back the other Ivory models, but those Tenite Models with the silent snap are primo. I shoulda moved to Fl..

I'm glad that you guys enjoyed the pics. I've had over 440 hits on my photopoint site. I'm off to the West Palm Beach (FL) gun show because you can never have enough knives (especially Randalls).

BB, I went back to your PhotoPoint Albums today, and I looked at your other Albums. Although your Randalls are my favorites, some of your other knives are very impressive also. I had never seen a Kabar in stag before, and you have two. I can't imagine ever owning anywhere near as nice a collection as yours. Thanks again for sharing yours. May I ask how long have you been collecting?

I have been collecting/using knives since I was ten years old. I began serious collecting in 1988 and have bought and sold over 1000 knives including 254 Randalls. I have rehandled more than 300 knives (mostly production fixed blade) and did the custom work for some of the Cutlery World stores when they were in South Florida. The "Bubba Blades" that you see are all that I have left. Many of the blades I made were from files and leaf springs. Thanks for asking.
