Does this look like it would leave enough "meat" on a wooden block or should I make the tang narrower towards the guard? I don't want to have the handle too thin, but also don't want a weak tang. The handle directly under the guard is about 1", the tang measures about .58" so it would leave about .21 on each side. Thoughts?

Looks good, there'll be epoxy between the tang and handle material holding everything together

The inside corners, where the tang joins the ricasso should be rounded. otherwise, the tang
design is quite sufficient.

The wood at that section is mostly exposed to compression forces, which it's fine with in thin sections. You have about 2.5mm on either side, which is fragile when you are working with it but it's all glued together it will be fine. I wouldn't be bothered by it.

Yeah, there's a couple of things on the drawing that will be different in reality. I haven't figured out how to put a small radius on corners in inkscape yet. Thanks for the feedback!
