Randall Made knife, model 16SP#1 'Special Fighter.' The 16SP#1 has the same blade profile as the much heralded model 1-7, but it has a full tang and some other nice options. The single finger grooved handle is made of black micarta, the forward curved hilt is nickel silver, and the blade is forged 440 stainless. The knife also sports a lanyard hole with lanyard attached.
The model 16SP#1 is a variation of the original model 1. The knife has a 7" blade of 1/4" stainless steel and sports the Border Patrol handle. The top edge of the blade is sharpened approximately 3". The knife measures 11.5" tip to butt and weighs about 14.0 oz. Handmade in the U.S.A. The knife has been very lightly used and possibly lightly sharpened. It otherwise appears brand new. It comes with a waxed leather model C sheath and hone that are original to the knife.
