Hello everyone,

At long last I have gotten my first Randall, a model 5-6. Basically a Bradford Angier without the compass. Can anyone help me date it or recommend resources to help with that? Thank you!

Also, I want to say that I traded into this to use it. The sheath is in excellent condition but it looks old. Should I maybe look into a newer, user sheath? I’m not knowledgeable about Randalls and their values but I worry about messing up a very old sheath.

Good question. Most of us have been there.

Personally, I would use it as is. Sheath and all. That is part of the fun. They were made to be used.

You only live once, might as well have a Randall on ones belt 🤘

Also, another question. This is a model 5 about 6” long but it’s 3/16 thick. I love that, personally, but everything else I’ve seen on them says they are 1/4” thick. I’m guessing it’s because it’s older?
