Im looking to get a randall and have a couple questions about the Model 16 Diver. What is the rockewell hardness on this knife? And would it make a good woods knife or is it heat treated differently and whatnot because its a diving knife?

Thanks in advance.

This should be posted over here. In the Randall Knives sub-forum.

The model 16 is a dive knife, with a grind and steel suited for a salt /waterborne environment. If thats kind of where you camp than by all , also there is no reason why it wouldn't function as a knife in another role. But maybe a model 5 for example would be better suited for camping.
