Randall Survival Knife

I have been thinking of ordering a Randall Made Knife. Which model should I order? Just to have one ! But which model to get? I really like all three models below. Please help me decide. :confused:

- Model #1 "All Purpose Fighting Knife" 7" or 8" blade
- Model # 14 "Attack with Sawteeth 7 1/2" blade
- Model 18 "Attack-Survival" 7 1/2" blade Sawteeth and Hollow Handle
 
I like the #18 myself. I hope you're prepared to wait if ordering from Randall though.
 
Yes, I know what you mean, waiting for new knives sinks, but I'm sure it will be worth it. I have been leaning towards the model #18.

The waiting list is 4 years.

Or, for a about 20% more, you can trim that considerably by ordering from some of the better known dealers. They can trim it down to about a year's wait or less.

Or, for a similar mark up, go to Ebay there are probably about 5 - 10 new Randall's put up for auction there every day.
 
i had a model 14 with saw teeth, did nothing for me. if you need a saw, get a small folder, gerber makes a nice one. i have another 14 without the saw teeth, i like it better. i even found one that has a #1 handle. sort of like a #1 on steroids. check a site called "Treeman knives" thats where i got my model 18. he usually has some in stock. his prices arent too bad either
