A friend would like to know what these 2 knives might be worth and approximate year they were made?

The model #2 has a 5 inch blade, brass guard, stacked leather handle and alumminum buttcap. It has 5 spacers behind the guard, 2 thick red ones, 1 thick black one and 2 skinny white ones. There are 3 in front of the buttcap, 1 skinny white one thick red and one thick black. Never been sharpened and has the original sheath marked randall knives and has a silver snap.

The model 11 has a 5 inch stainless blade, brass guard and stag handle. Original sheath with orange stone. The guard has 5 spacers behind it. 1 thick black and 2 skinny white and 2 skinny red.

Thanks for any replies,
Chuck

Chuck,

Based on the spacer configurations the Model #2-5 was likely made sometime between the mid 1960's and the very early 1970's. The Model #11-5 was likely made sometime between the late 1970's and the mid 1980's.

Value on each to a reseller may be somewhere in the $350 range per knife, with an asking price of several hundred dollars more per knife once offered for sale.

That's my free opinion anyway, YMMV... :)

Hope that helps,

Shel
