I have a Randall knife that was given to me some 20+/- years ago by a neighbor. While I was stationed at NSWDG my neighbor, who was a motivated patriot, gifted me the blade. It has "rested" in my gun safe all these years and I just now took it out to see what I really have...I had no idea!
Would/could you assist me in identifying please?
I have pics, but I'm a knuckle-dragger and can't download...

Welcome. You need a Gold Membership to discuss pricing of knives here.

Regarding the model, you can check the different Randall models at randallknives dot com.

The Randall model number is usually stamped on the back of the sheath. Model number then a dash then the blade length in inches.

MN-BL

If you post pictures we can help more, but cannot discuss value at your membership level.

When you establish just what model you have in hand, try looking on e-Bay for that model ass a sold item. . .. click on "advanced search". That can give you an idea of the current relative worth of your knife.

Collectors look for pristine or unused condition of the knife, original Sheth and whether or not the shartpening stone is present if the sheath has a pocket. Other factors may be the options such as handle type and finger guard/hilt materials etc.

E-Bay is not a definitive source of course, only a guide.

Welcome to the Blade Forums.

Y YldBill Randall knives usually sell high even when in used condition. If it is indeed a real RMK, it has significant value and was a fine gift from your neighbor.

Condition age specific options and rarity all play a part to elevate it’s value from significant to extreme.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

No need to just upgrade to gold and your good to go. Welcome to BladeForums also.

The guy wasn't even asking about the price - just id.
He included value in his original post - that part was removed by the moderator.

Y YldBill no need to get your knickers in a twist - you didn't bother to review the rules, so you made a mistake. (That thread the mod linked is stuck at the top of this forum - it's right above the most recent thread to keep it visible). Now you know not to ask about value unless you choose to upgrade...in the meantime, you can still get information about the knife and post pictures. Heck, if you actually like knives, you'll find plenty to look at and talk about, too

And, since any thread is worthless without pictures, here's token Randall shot to keep everybody interested until you post yours.
Models 2-7 and 12-8, both with forward curved n/s hilts, desert ironwood handles, and n/s buttcaps
