I've owned two Random Leeks (1660TCKT) awhile, but I don't know much about them (other than I really like them). One is my EDC, and the other is new in box. How many were produced? Do they command a premium over "standard" Leeks?

Not really. They are fairly common and the likes of Walmart have sold them for years at the same price as the normal ones. They have brought out a Random Leek recently with S30V steel on the blade. It doubles the price of the knife and has the DLC coated handle.

They also have the S30V steel blade with G10 handle that is the premium leek of the bunch. It is wonderful in every way. The Damascus bladed Leeks are quite rare and put up the price. Rainbow and Composite Leeks are also a little more expensive than regular Leeks.

I like the smoky blue and smoky red ones personally. I wish they did the composite blades with these handles. My wife loves the Rainbow and the all black, partial serration ones.

There are some limited released colours out there that tend to go for a little more, due to their rarity like a smoky green. They tend to be older knives from what I seen with the 440A steel blades.

Right now for Leeks in the house we have the smoky blue handled, plain steel handled partial serrated, the G10 handled Leek, Rainbow Leek, and black partial serrated leek. I prefer the plain blade, but my wife wants the partial serrated blades and she's the boss.

Welcome to the forums. According to Kershaw there were about 3300 (combo edge I think) of them made. At one time they were the only S30V leek made. Now that Kershaw has many leeks with many blade steels with lower production numbers it may not command a premium. But a collector may pay a premium price for it. Check out what prices they are demanding on e-bay and other auction sites for a price comparison.
