Random nubie question on Sabenza blade color

My GF is going to buy me a Large sabenza for Xmass in the next half hr or so. In some of the pics I see on line, some of the blades look darker than the others. I'm not talking about the Damascus. It's a plain stonewashed blade, but just looks darker. Is it the lighting in the pics I'm seeing?? I would prefer the darker looking blade.
 
It probably is just different lighting that makes it appear darker or lighter. CRK offers two finishes. The stonewash finish (which most sebenzas you see have)
or a polished satin finish. Which come on the annuals and if you request it can come on the regular 21's as well.
 
Stonewashed steel can look significantly different from different angels and lighting also effects it. I do not think that darker variations exists its all just lighting
 
Yes to all the above...stonewashed will look different from "polished" (belt finish), and S35VN has a very slightly different hue than S30V. But the biggest variable is probably how the white balance and exposure settings were different from camera to camera for the various pictures.
 
I agree that is probably the lighting
I have seen a 3rd finish listed at dealers-sand blasted, when I inquired with the dealer they just said it was simular to the stonewashed
