Random Package containing machete

So guys, (this may be the wrong forum, but I don't know what to classify it as)

Today after class I got back to my apartment to find a package sitting on the door step from The Bauer Investment Group. After a google search it turns out they own Not Your Mama's Knives. It's odd because I haven't order anything from them in ages. Curious I opened the package to find a Condor Golok. After checking with my bank, there haven't been any charges from the company....soooo a nice thank you gift? I don't know what to think.

Any thoughts?
 
The honest thing to do would be let them know--they probably made a shipping error. They'll probably let you keep it for free.
 
MAN! I knew I put the wrong address! CRAP... I ordered that weeks ago.. no wonder it was taking so long getting here... PM inbound with proper forwarding address, much appreciated!

We've already established that this blade is mine.

The 2 people above me are trying to steal my knife.

On a serious note sounds like a shipping error, be honest and send them an email, they can't really make you send it back to them, and will most likely give it to you. Possible even a coupon code with it. Was there an invoice in the box?
 
The packing slip has a purchase order number on it, I'll look into giving them a call tomorrow

The same thing happened to me about a month ago. Roger from Knifeworks sent me a Fallkniven U2 and I wanted to keep it sooooo bad. But I asked him what was up and he asked if I would send it back. It was very cool while I had it though...
 
I'd best resist the temptation (and what a temptation!) and make efforts too send it back. But I can see you are doing (or will be doing) just that, good for you.

I would hope people make efforts to give me back my incorrect shipped items, do onto others what you would like done onto you you see.
 
Contact them and make arrangements to send it back. Nothing good will ever come from it if you keep it.

I agree with these guys; best be noble, and do the right thing. If you were to keep it, unethically, then it may become cursed! And a Golok is a biiiiiiig blade... not sure that I'd want any bad juju around it!!! ;)
