Kukri and a Folding Machete! broken Ka Bar too, lol... I carried the Ka Bar as a kid until I broke the pommel hammering with it.

I carried this folding machete for a long time, it is awesome! WW2 vintage and has a cool tip. This knife is somewhat of an influence on my work, especially my older choppers. Dig or cut! One day I'll make a folder this big!

Historic area near home... The big building in the far background was the eight Hilton Hotel built, there was an underground tunnel under the street by the old hotel that led to a hot springs across the road! The Reds and Giants both had spring training near here around the turn of the century!

Looks like a good time! Sweet mousehole! I bet the top could be ground down just a bit to really make it nice.

If I took a picture of every rediculous car I saw I could fill 10 pages in a week on here! There are some that are just stoooopid looking and other you can't help it but laugh! I haven't seen spinnerz in a while though, that's a nice touch. The stick-on air vents are always a classy addition. Btw, those are small rims out here, 26" is pretty commn. Geeze, I remember that 17" rims were hot just not long ago. Maybe I'll put 24's under the bug...

Nice pics thanks for sharing. To be honest I first got into knives because of my love for my Grandfathers WWII knives/bayonetts. I still have them and the best is the CASE Pig Sticker. I'll have to post a pic sometime. That Anvil is enormous lol. very cool.

Cool stuff, man.

I have my granddad's Kukri from WWI, which lore says came from a Gurka he served with in Asia somewhere. Burma, I think. Maybe India. I occasionally get the urge to sharpen it, but reason always wins out. I also have a '67 USAF Ka-Bar that was my dad's, which is a few years older than I am, and in better shape. My point is even more damaged than the Ka-Bar's.

I think the anvil could be ground down a hair too, it needs some work for sure. It looks like the original face is 1/4" thick if I am seeing it right.

The cars are too funny, we have no flair in this part of CO, lol! Ice would get caught in the spinners. :D :D :D

Post them up!

I have a Mauser bayonet that is just killer! It has a massive fuller and is still coated in Cosmoline. I almost brought it back here with me but will wait to drive it up.

That CASE is a classic design, I really like it. I want to do a fighter with those lines eventually.

Cool stuff, man.

Wow that is cool! I hear you on sharpening it, I am the same way about sentimental stuff.

Ka-Bars are cool, classic designs. I will probably fix the broken one eventually just for fun.

I really want to fix up the folding machete, it is just killer. Thick spine and when cleaned up looks very modern for a 70 year old knife.
