random question: how many guys play golf in here?

im working on a project and im trying to find the demos of where it would apply, so im wondering how many of you guys out there play golf and to what level? do you make weekend trips of it, big trips with your buddies, weekend muni players, club members, etc.... i think a poll would probably be better but i dont know how to do that. if anyone has any tips on that, by all means let me know. thanks guys

I don't know a thing about Golf other than what my main man Robin Williams told me about it, Bob rest his soul, but it sounds "fun".

haha, thanks man, im gonna check it out. im a big fan of his. you sound like a fan too, so ill recommend you look up some videos of him with Coco, the signing gorilla. theyre really good and it shows how awesome of a guy he was in all aspects of his life. he wasnt just a showman and comedian, he was a good dude...

i think ill throw in a little golf joke of my own since you brought up the great Robin Williams. this is an oldy but a goody about how rabid golfers, even amatuers, can be. So theres a foursome about in the box about to hit his drive when a funeral procession drives by. He takes his hat off in respect and, gives a moment of pause in respect. The other guys in the group are stunned. theyre like "Bob, what the heck man. ive never seen you act like that". Bob replies: "I know. Would of been 40 years next week"...Boom. Like i said, oldy but a goody, and definitely has a little basis in truth

but youd get in trouble for posting a link to a youtube video with cussing in it? seriously? arent most people in here grown-ups? theyve never heard swear words? i mean if you put a warning on it that said "dont click if you have virgin ears" im joking around but im also half serious because im pretty new in here and new to forums in general so i dont know the unwritten (and written rules). alright man, thanks for the tip. gonna check it out

About the language thing here. The forum has a place for it and this General Discussion area may not be it. I decided not to take any more risks. I think the moderators last words to me were "Boy don't make me pull this here plug ! "

im generally a guy who believes theyre just words and what makes a cuss word a cuss word? different cultures have different cuss words. whats the difference between "poo-poo" or "doody" and "$h!+" but thats getting philosophical about it all. but if you use them too much then they lose their effect and i try to only use em when i need to put a little more OOMPH behind what im saying generally or to help get my point across.

and i like the fishing thing. i havent heard that before. i would put fishermen and golfers in the same boat actually...get it? boat...fishermen... haha, RIMSHOT! man that was punny
